OSLO - NORWAY

Oslo city is just beautiful.  Of Norwegian heritage I have always wanted to visit Norway.  It felt strange to be in a place where your surname is as common as Smith.  I could definitely live here.  It is very expensive, and taxes are hefty but you can see where the money goes.  The city and parks are well maintained.  It is relaxed and not busy as other cities around Europe.  It is also nice to see no high rises along the water front.

Froglund (Vigelund Park) with Sculptures of naked human form in all its guises.  Photos do not do them justice it is an amazing park.

Kon Tiki Museum - Thor Heyerdahl expeditions.  As a child I was inspired by Thor Heyerdahl books on the Ra and Kon Tiki expeditions. Thor is named after him.

Thor and Erik were getting niggly with each other - Thor H and Erik H were best friends - I pointed this out to my two.
