ITALY - ROMA

Rome Italy - Rome felt a lot different than when we last visited.  A lot of immigrants, did not feel safe, we were followed - I fell back behind him trapping him between Adam and I so he had no choice but leave us alone as we were on to him.  Harassed a lot by street vendors/beggars so hard to relax and enjoy.  The Roman Forum and Paletine Hill are still awesome and a respite from the city streets.  We stayed again in a private apartment with a terrace in Rome which was lovely.

We stumbled upon a protest march.  The metro was not working that day due to strikes which made sightseeing difficult as the buses were jam packed like sardines.

Homemade Espresso!
Bus replacement for the Metro

St Peters square at the Vatican unfortunately due to strike and queues we did not get in
